01

Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and the operator of Memoria (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your download, installation, access to, or use of the Memoria app and related services.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Memoria, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. Minors should use the service only after a parent or guardian has read and accepted them.

02

The service

Memoria is a personal memory-recording and organization tool. Its main features include creating memory entries, adding photos and text, organizing collections, generating share images, setting anniversary reminders, optional iCloud sync, and data export.

Some features may require a newer operating-system version, network access, an Apple ID, available iCloud storage, system permissions, or an active Premium subscription. The features available to you are those described in your version of the app and on the purchase screen.

03

Your content and rights

You retain the applicable rights to text, photos, tags, and other content you create, import, or save in Memoria. You grant us only the limited permission needed to provide, maintain, and improve the service. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your content to us.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the lawful right to add your content and for backing up anything important. Do not record or share content that infringes another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.

04

Premium, purchases, and auto-renewal

Memoria may offer monthly or annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Pricing, any trial period, billing interval, and included benefits are shown on the App Store purchase screen. Your Apple ID account is charged when you confirm a purchase.

Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends, the subscription renews automatically. Apple generally charges your account within the 24 hours before renewal. You can view, change, or cancel a subscription in system Settings or App Store subscription management. Apple handles refunds under its policies. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

We may reasonably adjust Premium benefits, but we will not retroactively remove core benefits already provided during a paid period. Price changes are communicated and take effect under App Store rules.

05

Acceptable use

You may not use Memoria for unlawful activity; attempt to damage, bypass, or interfere with its security, subscription verification, system restrictions, or normal operation; or copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app without permission, except where the law expressly allows it.

When you share content generated by Memoria through another app or platform, you must also follow that third party's rules and remain responsible for the sharing and its consequences.

06

Third-party services

When you choose relevant features, Memoria uses services provided by Apple, such as the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud and CloudKit, Photos, notifications, and system sharing. These services are independently operated by their providers and governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Feature limitations caused by device status, network conditions, Apple service outages, account restrictions, or third-party policy changes are not entirely within our control.

07

Changes and termination

We may update, suspend, or adjust features for security, compliance, compatibility, or product improvement, and will reasonably try to reduce adverse effects on you. You may stop using and uninstall Memoria at any time.

If you seriously breach these Terms or applicable law, we may restrict access to relevant services where legally permitted. Before you stop using Memoria, use its export feature or another method to preserve any content you want to keep.

08

Intellectual property

Except for your content and material lawfully owned by third parties, Memoria's software, interface, brand, text, design, and related materials are owned by us or the relevant rights holders and protected by intellectual-property laws.

These Terms grant you only a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service. They do not transfer any intellectual-property rights.

09

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We provide the service with reasonable care, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with every device. Device damage, low storage, accidental deletion, disabled sync, and third-party service failures may make data unavailable. Regularly export or back up important content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. No limitation excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit, or affects your mandatory consumer rights.

10

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our features, legal obligations, or operations change. We will publish the new version and updated date on this page. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide an in-app notice or another reasonable form of notice.

Continuing to use the service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you disagree, you should stop using the service.

11

Governing law, disputes, and contact

These Terms are subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules where you live and other laws with proper jurisdiction. If a dispute arises, the parties should first try to resolve it through good-faith discussion. If that fails, either party may seek relief from a court or dispute-resolution body with lawful jurisdiction.

If you have questions about these Terms, contact us through the contact details listed on Memoria's App Store product page.
